Illustrated with 16 plates and in-text illustrations by Harrison Fisher. First Edition/First Printing. Publisher's light green cloth with a pictorial design stamped in black and yellow on the front cover and gilt titled spine. Boards have shelf-wear present to the extremities (spine is faded and darkened along the spine). Very nice bookplate (Julia Wharton Griffith) present to the front pastedown. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. Jerome's humorous sequel to *Three Men in a Boat*. This is the second book about the three London-based friends going on an adventure. This time, some years have passed since the boat trip, the dog is no longer with them, and two of them are married. EB; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 299 pages .
