New York: Simon & Schuster, 1970. First Edition. First Printing. Octavo; black cloth, with titles stamped in gilt on spine and front panel; yellow topstain; dustjacket; 399pp; illus. Hint of a forward lean, with a touch of sunning to upper board edges; very Near Fine, without the Book Club slug on rear panel. Dustjacket is the correct issue - priced at $7.95, caption beneath front flap photo reading "Fifth Avenue from 34th to 14th - is enchanted," and code of 20497 printed at base of lower rear panel. Some trivial wear to edges, else very Near Fine, rich in color, and without the usual yellowing to the edges. The author's celebrated novel of time travel, which has developed an incredible cult following.
