It was the basis for the 1938 film of the same name, starring Constance Bennett, Roland Young, Billie Burke and Alan Mowbray. Octavo. Original red cloth, title to spine in gilt, motif to front cover blind, top edge red. With dust jacket. Ownership signature to front free endpaper. An excellent, fresh copy in the jacket with some chips and short closed tears to extremities.
