Tasso, Torquato (1544-1595) Torquato Tasso's Nächte. 18th century manuscript written in period hand and rebound in the early 1800's. 69 pages, 4to. Stamped with Rudolf Haarhaus of Eberfeld and blue penciled 'Veglie di Tasso. Bound in Moroccan 1/8th calf with remnants of a paper label on head and heel of spine 'T. Tasso' and 'Veglie'. Possibly written by Giuseppe Compagnoni in German. Added bonus of a period 4 Leaf Clover Collected and mounted on period paper! Giuseppe Compagnoni: Wrote several Letters (1776-1832) "History", pp. 224, sewn ISBN 88-8063-295-7 Illuminismo and Napoleonic revolution, Queens, romanticism and restoration, three are made historical along which the Giovinazzo, the maturity and the old age of Giuseppe Compagnoni (1754-1833 were carried out). A biographical 'consonanza', documented cultural psychology and from these letters, that the warm humanity and the high intellectual level of this Luchese of from Milan birth and of adoption confirm, undoubtedly one of the protagonists of the Italian culture in the trapasso from the 1700's to the 1800's.
