Hardcover, bound in green cloth titled in black on the front cover and in gilt on the spine, laid into a printed blue & white dust wrapper. The dust jacket is rubbed & soiled and the edges are chipped with a couple of tiny slivers out. 690 pages with black and white textual illustrations. A previous owner's name and address are stamped on the front endpaper. The top edge of the book is foxed. Good.
