Red coloured boards with silver coloured titles to the back strip. Photographic dustwrapper, being a seen from the film "The Sound of Music", with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. The dust jacket states that this is the authentic version of the true story on which The Sound of Music is based. The photographs illustrating the edition from the Trapp family's own album and in almost every case have not been published before. Rubbing of the book edges with softening of the back strip edges. Light tanning of the text block edges and pages and the front text edge shows a little staining to the top edge and to the lower edge. Pages 17 through to 32 a slightly more dark on the front edge. Previous owner's ex libris plate is fixed to the free front end page; and, their name has been placed to the top edge of the same page. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels.
