London: William Maxwell & Son, 1876. Second Edition. . Hardcover. See Description. 8vo. pp. [xliv], 962, with a Second part at the end covering the Merchant Shipping Act of 1876 pp. [4], 59, [3]. Maroon cloth, sturdily re-backed preserving original spine. Paper spine label worn. Cloth discolored on the lower front cover near the hinge. Small area of discoloration at the bottom of the spine caused by former shelf sticker. Library impress stamp on the title page. "Withdrawn" ticket on inside front cover. Pages are generally clean with a few miniscule marginal tears and a couple of light pencil notations.
