Publisher's full red cloth (Style 8, Blumenthal design), gilt lettering on black panels on cover and spine, with Kent torchbearers, t.e.g. (black), printed Kent endpapers. Translated from the German by Willa and Edwin Muir; revised, and with additional materials translated by E. M. Butler. . The volume is mildly shelf-worn, with some underlining throughout, and one spot on the spine, else fine. The unclipped dust jacket (the unique Kafka back with the left-side blocks, now in Mylar) is moderately chipped and worn at the head and heel, with small loss, and along the edges.
