In which are contained the campaigns of the Duke of Wellington in India, and his last in Spain and the South of France. 2 volumes. xv and 403 pages; xi and 381 pages. Publisher's cloth, spines slightly faded, corners bumped. Trail of neat signatures and book plates of past owners (see photos 5 and 6). The first volume includes a ninety page account of the part played by the 27th in the Java Expedition. The second volume has two hundred pages on the Peninsular War during which Blakiston was an officer of the 5th Cacadores.
