Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Front free endpaper is removed. Heavy scuffing to front pastedown. Thumb-marking present. Notable creasing to gutter. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Visible crushing to spine ends. Some tanning to spine and edges. Brown marks overall. Tearing to spine ends. Textblock is shaky.
Synopsis
Graham Greene (1904–1991) worked as a journalist and critic, and was later employed by the foreign office. His many books include The Third Man , The Comedians and Travels with My Aunt . He is the subject of an acclaimed three-volume biography by Norman Sherry.
