Binding is tight and solid, interior pages are bright and unmarked. Monograph on the little known sixteenth century Spanish artist Luis Lagarto (1556-c. 1615, active in Mexico 1586 until his death). Hardcover volume, handsomely bound in green cloth covered boards with black stamping to spine and cover, and wrapped with an illustrated paper dustjacket. A separate portfolio of ten full color reproductions is laid in, as published. Hundreds of full color illustrations of the painter's works, with extensive texts in Spanish. .
