Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott, 1941. Second Impression. HB. Gray cloth, black lettering on spine, 8vo, 350 pp. Account of the author's experiences in Belgium during the first few months of World War II. Moen was an American scientist and journalist who had lived and worked in Europe since the 1920's, and was working in Belgium when the war broke out. He was allowed to return to America at the end of October, 1940. An interesting analysis of life under German occupation. Illustrated with photographs. No marks in book, binding tight. Covers show edge wear, minor soiling, lightly bumped corners. Book condition Good.
