Born in 1916 in America of Russian jewish parents, he made his debut at the age of 7, performed three concertos with Bruno Walter in Berlin at the age of 12, appeared tirelessly before vast audiences of servicemen across the globe during World War II and over his long, illustrious career was the recipient of innumerable honours.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Synopsis

Yehudi Menuhin first published his autobiography in 1976 then updated it in 1996 when it was reissued. This is the first paperback publication of that edition, now supplemented with a preface by Christopher Hope and a concluding chapter by Michael Binyon.
