FIRST EDITION 1954, 8vo, cream boards, lettered red, green and gilt, gilt illustration to upper cover, 45 pages. 7 facsimiles of the drawings made by Carroll and one facsimile page of his verses. 17 poems of which only 6 have been published elsewhere, written by Carroll for a family magazine when he was 13. No inscriptions, tiny light brown stain to fore-edge of page 29 continuing to rear endpaper, increasing slightly in size (see image). Near Fine in original glassine DUSTWRAPPER with printed paper front flap (dw: not price clipped (6s net), short closed tear at tail of spine and at lower corner of upper cover).
