Paris: Les Éditions de la Lucarne, 1925 First edition, copy no.97 of 200 numbered copies on Pur Fil Lafuma paper. Hardcover book . French text. Attractive rebinding in blue leather spine and corners, over marbled paper boards, lettered in gilt to spine with gilt border lines. Top page edges gilt. Decorative printed endpapers. The original brown card wrappers have been bound in. (It was originally published as a soft cover). 122pp. With b&w photo of author as frontispiece, opposite information on his military record in the First World War (he had fought at Verdun and was killed in October 1918). A Very Good copy: fine and clean inside, with original owner's details on top margin of and one platfront wrapper). Covers clean and bright, with some small rubs to leather in places.Lovely copy . Pictures available.
