Illustrated title page and tissue guard; numerous b/w plates some with tissue guards, several maps in colour, large colour fold out map laid on linen to the rearI. Original red-coated end papers, top edges gilt. Bound in the publisher's dark green finely ribbed cloth with gilt title to spine, very good with slight wear and fading. Contents clean and tight, unmarked, no inscriptions. A very good tight copy..
