Good+: Shows moderate wear to the extremities with small loss to rubbing at the corner tips; several faint soil spots to the backstrip and mild rubbing to the red cloth over boards; a hint of sun-blanching to the backstrip (the gilt titles thereon remain legible if slightly muted); a couple of former owner's name inscribed names and dates at the front endpapers; the expected light tanning to the text pages; the binding is square and secure (though the rear hinge has been reglued); the text is clean. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of underlining, hi-lighting, notations, or marginalia. A handsome reading copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing moderate wear and several minor, unobtrusive imperfections. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo.
