Publisher's green cloth with spine lettering, small illustration, and upper board lettering in gilt, quarto, pp. xiii, 368. Illustrated endpapers, color frontis, many plates and headpieces by E. H. Suydam. Previous owner or bookseller inventory number on rear pastedown. Rubbed at spine ends, board tips, and bottom edge. Dust jacket chipped at spine ends and fold point tips. Jacket also crimped at crown of spine under the mylar (see photo 5). GOOD and serviceable withal.
