[Service de Press] printed on the spine.Inscribed and signed by Maurice de Vlaminck on the front endpaper: "A Pierre Hudiat / Hommage de l'auteur / Vlaminck".Along with Andre Derain and Henri Matisse, Maurice de Vlaminck was one of the central figures of the Fauve movement. He was the only major French artist who was also a significant literary figure.
