Contributors include G.Stables, A Hope, F Cowper and Jules Verne. Numerous articles of interest - Adventure, outdoor sports and pastimes, indoor amusements, songs. 'Boy Life Afloat' 'Medals of the British Navy' 'Boat-Sailing for Amateurs' . NOTE 5 of the illustrations are missing. 6 chromolithograph plates, and 3 other plates are present. Original red and gilt embossed cloth covers with gilt motifs having bevelled edges, slightly torn. Spine cover a little torn at head and tail, faded and grubby. Covers grubby. Spine weak Contents grubby in parts.
