About This Item

New York: The Macmillan Company, 1948. Hardcover. ix, 261p., illustrated with eight b&w plates from photography and a doublespread line map. Hardbound in 8x5.5 inch papered boards and enclosed in a remnant dust jacket. Casing bears a couple of discolorations from the old scotch tape that patches the dust jacket, and is otherwise mildly handled, but is entirely clean and unmarked within. The jacket is terribly edgeworn with lots of yellowed once-clear tape, but provides all texts from flap panels. A good-only copy.
