1932 hardcover as pictured. Gibran's last book, this is a stated first edition. Binding is firm. Black cloth boards with gold stamping show minimal edge wear. Endpapers are tanned. Pencil notation on FEP. Rough cut text is lightly tanned but appears otherwise clean and unmarked. A few pages near the end have been bumped and have a small crease at top corner. Dust jacket shows some edge wear with a few small tears and a chip at top of spine. DJ is protected by a glassine wrap which is torn at top edge.
