About This Item
Londoin: A. Brown & Sons, 1944. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fine-/Good-Very Good. Green cloth with gilt lettering to fr. and sp., no obvious faults bar touch of fading to bottom sp. viii + 105; clean, tight and unmarked. Unclipped jacket is clean but top edge slightly curled due to very slight extension above cover edge, chip across top sp. extending 3 cms onto front, max, width 05 cm, tiny nick top back edge and internally closed tear beside fr. joint, now barely visible, will add protective sleeve when ordered. Provides an interesting insight into home front and political affairs 1940-1943 from highly patriotic angle, his spelling seems to go awry occasionally (spotted 'edition;' for 'addition' and 'your' for 'yore'). Apparently scarce esp. with good jacket. 13 cm x 19 cm
