The first edition of this work.'A Will in the Way' is a tense mystery novel featuring Desmond Merrion and Inspector Henry Arnold.The mystery in this novel surrounds the possible murder of the lady of a grand house.Written by Cecil Street under the pseudonym Miles Burton. In the original publisher's cloth binding in the original price-clipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Light discolouration to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Spots to the fore edge. Dustwrapper is discoloured, including sunning to the spine, with some marks and spots to the wraps. Edgewear to the dustwrapper, resulting in closed tears. Closed tear to the head of the spine is repaired with tape to the reverse. Prior owner's gift inscription to the front flyleaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with some spots. Very Good Indeed
