Bound in yellow cloth. Only two similar copies available online are selling for more than $800.00. A lovely short book of short poems, it contains all the sunshine and shadow, desperation and eros of the Harlem Renaissance. A true literary monument. Book in Good condition. No dust jacket. Yellow cloth cover soiled with age and use; some damp staining on bottom spine. Binding strong with a slight cant. Name of former owner inscribed on front endpaper. No other marks observed in text. Some damp staining on bottom of pages near spine. Wartime paper tanning with age and contains the note 'This book has been produced in full compliance with all government regulations for the conservation of paper, metal, and other essential materials.'
