Book is crisp and clean, with tight binding and sharp corners. Last page is creased. Unclipped dust jacket is fresh and bright, with small chips at top and bottom of slightly tanned spine. A handsome, collectible copy of Pangborn's first science fiction novel. The following year Pangborn went on to win the International Fantasy Award for Best Fiction for "A Mirror for Observers" 8vo. 219 pp. Jacket art by Dick Powers. In protective Mylar.
