About This Item

Longmans Young books, 1972. 1st Edition. Hardcover. VG++/VG. First Edition. 13.8 x 21.9 cm green boards with gilt stamped titles to the spine (iv) 120(2)pp. In original unclipped dust jacket priced at £1.25. Signed, inscribed and dated by the author to the front free endpaper. The book is clean with just a hint of fading to the spine. Internally clean with just the author's inscription. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown), has some toning to the spine and a little marking to the rear panel. There are a few closed tears to the top and bottom edges, the longest being 0.9 cm on the rear top joint. There is also a very small 2mm chip at the head of the spine. All in all a very good signed 1st Edition copy of this collection of short stories.
