Red-brown boards with alligator design to front; black title to spine. Very light rubbing to extremities. Unmarked interior. Small chips to top/bottom of dustjacket spine and dustjacket corners. Light age-toning to dustjacket. Protected in mylar. Publisher's "A" to copyright page. The author Le Grand Henderson, (1901-1964) "...once built a houseboat and drifted down the whole two thousand miles of winding (Mississippi) River. It took him nearly a year, during which he was 'frozen in', stuck on mud banks and sandbars, and lost in the woods during a flood..." (rear dustjacket flap).
