Book is crisp, clean, and sharp in brown boards. Dust jacket is lightly stained and tanned, but it is free of tears and chips except for one tiny one at foot of spine. An account of Club Alpino Italiano's assault on Mt. Saraghrar, in the Hindu Kush Massif, in 1958. Photos (black-and-white and color) , maps (including two folding maps, maps in text, and map endpapers) , and index. Translated from the Italian by Peter Green. 290 pp. In protective Mylar.
