Forward by Sir Vivian Fuchs. Monty Brown did a great job chronicling the exploits of some of the first Europeans to explore Kenya and some of the surrounding areas of east Africa. The book has been out of print for quite some time but it is still worth picking up if you are interested in African colonial history. Gun enthusiasts will especially enjoy Brown's account of the initial use of Mannlicher rifles by hunters and explorers in Africa. It looks great on a coffee table and is good reading to boot!
