About This Item
London: Constable Young Books, 1963. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is clean and fresh, with just a few marks to show previous use. The grey covers are fresh, with just a touch of wear at tips and corners. The gilt illustration on the front cover has dulled. The dust jacket retains its vivid colours and is also in excellent condition. It is not price-clipped, and has light wear overall, with the worst problem being a pen mark beside the illustrator's name and a chip and associated folding at the top of the front panel, beside the top of the spine. The attached scan shows this damage, and gives a better idea of condition. Synopsis: A short (32 page) picture book in English and German, telling the story of John and his twin Ann. John didn't like baths, and one day, when it was time for his bath, he ran away.
