About This Item

Utah: Zion Natural History Assn., 1978. 1st Edition Printing Unknown. Soft cover. As New/No Jacket Issued. Eugene Palmer & Ursula Koering B&W Illus.. CONDITION: UNREAD, but not quite perfect, 1978 edition/printing Zion Natural History Assn. large trade paperback, no printing given. Although the date on this book is 1978, the book is too "new" to be that early a printing/release. Wonderful B&W illustrations by Eugene Palmer & Ursula Koering. Problem: tiny edge wear to cover with a pale, pale remainder mark bottom edges. This book, originally published in 1946, contains myths, legends, and folk tales from primarily the Piaute people of the Zion National Park area - trickster tales, star stories, creation lore, and also includes a Glossary, Time Measurement section, and Astronomy section.
