About This Item
Kingsville ONT: The Jack Miner Migratory Bird Foundation, 1969. Hardcover. lxxvii, 304p., text permeated with vignette-size b&w snapshot photos reasonably well-reproduced, hardbound in 9x6 inch black boards lettered silver and enclosed in the dust jacket. Very good copy: jacket a bit edgeworn, cased book slightly worn with handling else perfectly sound and clean. Marked only by two lengthy inscriptions on either side of the ffep; from 1974, a pious tribute from Jack's eldest son, and from 1979 an enthusiastic gift inscription from a nature-oriented fan. Laid in is an upright brochure of 8p., 9x4 inches with a couple of photoportraits, stapled (staples bright), extolling the naturalist and notions of his religion. The two items together.
