About This Item
London: Heinemann, 1943. Bound in the publishers fine blue cloth with gilt title lettering to spine. This is the first impression of the first edition. Produced to wartime economy standards but in remarkably nice condition given its age. All pages are present and correct with no inscriptions and are tightly bound. Book sits solid and square with all corners sharp. Housed in the plain light blue dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. Light rubbing and overall wear but very presentable nontheless. The very good dustwrapper is now protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve condition. Photographs of the book and the dustwrapper are available on request. A nice slim volume of pleasant John Masefield poetry recalling his early childhood.. First Edition. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. FIRST EDITION.
