Strahan & Co., 1872. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1872. No edition remarks. 287 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth covered boards with blind stamped design and gilt. Half-tone embellishments throughout. Gilt text-block top edge. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Damp stain to front free end-paper. Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting causing the binding to be shaky. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Minor fraying to cloth at spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean. Front board dust stained on the long edge.
