About This Item

London: L. Davis and C. Reymers, J. Ward, R. Baldwin, S. Crowder and Co, and W. bowyer , 1760. full calf with five raised bands on spine, minimal gilt decoration, spine ends worn, hinges cracking but holding, margins of some outer leaves stained brown from leather, text block otherwise clean and sound, 246 pages. Volume contains the Drapier's Letters and some other material related to Ireland. Odd volume. This volume is marked 'Finis' on the final page, which would imply that it is part of a ten-volume edition of the works. There appear to have been several collections of Swift's works issued around this time by various London publishers acting either alone or jointly. The four volumes I have were uniformly bound, and have the same owner signature.. Full-Leather. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
