Toronto: Musson Book Company Ltd., 1946. Hardcover. Good+/Fair. A Venture book for girls. Flight Officer Joan Worralson, known as "Worrals" to her friends, is send to the Middle East to unravel a mystery. Brown cloth with red titling to spine, colour frontispiece, black and white illustrations and map, top edge of textblock is red, 253 pages plus two pages of publisher's advertising. Stripe of light sunning to top and bottom of cover, some edge wear especially to corners, textblock edge is darkened and has a few small marks, which extend into book from pp. 206-211 as small stains, previous owner's name and address in ink on ffep. Dust jacket is price clipped, worn and smudged to back, lots of unprofessional tape repair. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg.
