In 1845 Butler was invited by the Bishop of the Swan River Colony, Dr John Brady, to join in his missionary work, assisting in the education of the aborigines and the Colony's first settlers. Includes information on New Norcia, aborigines, the convicts in Western Australia and early settlers and families. 1st edition.
