New York: Horace Liveright, 1930. This First Edition is in Fine condition with a close to Fine unclipped dust jacket. It is a delightful collectible for anyone who enjoys Hoffenstein's highly amusing poetry (and back in 1930, the country desperately needed to be amused. As Carl Van Vechten's final novel noted that same year, the party was over). The dust jacket has a tiny chip at the spine bottom. I've placed the dust jacket into an archival Brodart protective sleeve. The book itself is bound in an orange cloth with black titles on the front panel and spine. The top front corner is lightly bumped. Aside from that, the book is in beautiful condition, clean and bright. The binding is tight and secure. The text pages are white and sparkling throughout, with no stains, marks, or tears. The book measures 5 1/4 by 7 3/4 inches and includes 222 pages. . First Trade Edition. Hard Cover. Fine/Near Fine. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
