Recipes include the name of the contributor. There is no contributor index; there is a recipe index. Full page illustrations are section dividers. These illustrations "adaptations of 16th and 17th century prints." Many recipes include serving size. Soil to both covers, name written inside front cover. We noted one creased page corner, a couple of small, light spots on page 91, some pin point size spatter or ink transfer on page 100. A recipe on page 19 is starred and underlined in pencil, another on page 89 has an ingredient blacked out (this appears to have been done at time of printing.) Several of the holes through which the spiral binding should be threaded are not bound, starting at page 102 and continuing through back cover, we'll leave that for you to correct. . First.
