[FREDERICK SCHILLER FAUST] MAX BRAND. YOUNG DR. KILDARE. Dell Publishing Company, New York, 1949. First Edition. Dell #329 with Mapback. Condition: Near Fine / Very Good. With mild shelf wear, spine cocked, mild creases to cover and minor rubbing on spine typical of pulp fiction books of this age, otherwise barely read, pages are clean and binding tight. Originally Dr. Kildare appeared in the 1930's in pulp magazines Argosyand Cosmopolitan, later in the first major TV medical drama in the 1960's starring Richard Chamberlain and in dozens of films starting in the 1937 with "Internes Can't Take Money". Classic mystery pulp collectible.
