London: Charles Wilson, R. C. Lapage and Co., W. H. Allen and Co., c. 1850. new edition (third English). Hardcover. Very Good. 9 x 11 in. xii, 124 pp. Lavish plates. Condition is VERY GOOD ; rebound in 20th c. brown cloth with green spine label. Later binding has minimal shelf wear and is very clean. Binding tight. Original text is excellent, with text pgs a bit toned and plates much whiter and very clean/unmarked. The printers are not a known publisher of this work, and from the appearance of the engraved title pg., looks to have been a somewhat pirated edition from the early to mid 19th. c. Naut. RGR.
