About This Item
Indianapolis: BOBS MERRILL, 1910. First American Edition . Cloth. Fine/No Jacket. Gruger & Raleigh. First Printing. A very handsome first print copy in fine condition--without the very rare dustjacket. Blue cloth with gilt decorations and lettering to the front board and spine. Tight and square copy--very clean interior and exterior boards. Some dustiness to the page ends--but minor. Previous owner's name in ink to the front pastedown with some light age toning to the front and rear pastedowns---this copy came from the recently auctioned collection of M.B. Goldstone and has his penciled signature to the front free endpaper along with "First Edition" notations. Goldstone and his brother were well known collectors and Steinbeck bibliographers. This is a very collectible copy in fine condition.
