1553 Sabinus Catalog of Roman & German Emperors ROME Charlemagne Augustus Caesar

Georg Sabinus was a 16th-century German poet and historian who published an important catalogue of the emperors of Rome. Curiously, Sabinus supplemented the lists of Roman rulers with lists of German leaders. Each entry features a short description of the figure including some of which are written in poetic verse. It includes all the known Roman and German rulers such as Charlemagne, Otto the Great, Charles V, Constantine, Julius Caesar, Nero, and Augustus Caesar.
This fascinating Latin edition was published in Wittemberg, Germany in 1553 by Kreutzer

1537 1ed Orthodox Saint John Chrysostom On the Priesthood + Brixius Marburg

A rare 16th-century printing of works of John Chrysostom. Chrysostom was one of the most important Early Christian Church authors and preachers and is most remembered for his sermons and homilies. He preached on many different subjects, but his most frequented topic was helping the needy. Chrysostom calls for followers of Jesus to set aside their material desires to help the poor, often in a way that shamed the rich and guilted them in to giving.
"Do you pay such honor to your excrements as to receive them into a silver chamber-pot when another man made in the image of God is perishing in the cold?" (Chrysostom in Liebeschuetz)

One of his most important treatises was 'On the Priesthood' in which he describes his experiences becoming a priest and living as a priest. Interestingly, this work was popular during his lifetime as he made references to it in his other works.

Guillaume du Choul was a 16th-century historian best-remembered for his histories of ancient Rome. One of his best books was 'Discourse on the Religion of the Ancient Romans'
– a history of Roman Emperors, descriptions of life and times of ancient Rome, and most importantly a commentary on Roman coins and their religious implications (i.e. mythology, cults, etc.). This book also offers descriptions of forged Roman coins.
