Published in the summer of 1974 by the Consorzio del Vino Classico, two thousand copies, 1500 in Italian and 500 in English, numbered 1/1-100 to xx/100-100. Roman numerals correspond to the reference number of the original lithograph contained in each volume. This copy contains the original lithograph - Houses at La Volpia. Each separate lithograph has been printed by hand on a stellar press at the ateliers of Il Bisonte. Four parts: 1. Homage to Chianti by Carlo Betocchi 2. Chianti Past and Present by Giuseppe Conti 3. Seven plates in colour by Nino Tirinnanzi 4. Twenty plates in black-and-white by Nino Tirinnanzi. Owners gift presentation on half title page. Crisp, clean copy. Slip case toned, expertly repaired and intact. Housed in custom made acid free portfolio
