The jacket is worn and has some edge tears and chips. Jacket soiled from handling; spine is toned. Heavy damping on the jacket's rear panel. Rear jacket flap has a tear at the top edge. Prior owner's bookplate on the front pastedown (George Breathett, who was a professor at Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina in the 1950s-1960s). Endpapers have toning. Text is toned. Includes fold out of the Big House of the Noruega Plantation.
