New York: Blue Ribbon Books, 1933. 1st Edition . Large Illus. Bds. w/o. Dj.. Nice children's book that is illustrated with 10 beautiful full color plates along with many nice b&w illustrations. There is a small bookplate on endsheet, and there is overall light wear including 2 tiny margin tears, not affecting the artwork, and wear to the edges of the boards. The color illustrations are nice & clean, and considering that this once belonged to a child, a very nice copy.

NY: Blue Ribbon Books, 1933. First edition. Hardcover. Fine/Very good plus. Glazed pictorial boards printed in color. Pictorial endpapers in color. Four fabulous and detailed double-page pop-up scenes, plus full and partial page black & white illustrations throughout. Aside from two tiny stains at the edges of the upper board, and a bit of shelf wear along the bottom edge, this is a fine copy with fine pop-ups. The scarce dustwrapper is present; it has a couple of light stains, a short marginal tear, and some light rubbing at the edges else about fine. A sharp copy of an early Disney work.

Book is shaped like a pirate. 10 pages of die-cut glossy illustrations over foam board.
The illustrations and short text descriptions depict the exploits and stories of such famous pirates as Blackbeard and Henry Morgan.
Includes detailled illustrations of the ships galleon and even a treasure map.
Book is in Near New condition.
