Macmillan and Co. Ltd., 1933. 3rd Printing. Hardcover. Good/No DJ. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. No Dust Jacket. Deep blue cloth with gilt decorated spine and gansha device on front board. First edition July 1933, reprinted July and September 1933. Top edge gilt. Some soiling and fading of boards, gilt features are bright and well preserved. Cocked spine; POS on FFEP Roger Perrineau February 1936 ex-libris with just two other pages containing pen marks by the same hand, one of which on p.28 poses the still relevant question "Tours?"; a few creased page tips; text cream colored possibly from aging possibly from original paper stock type; binding loose with at least one split.
