London: Elkin Mathews, 1916. #30 of an edition of 50 copies hand-coloured and SIGNED BY ARTIST with his initials at colophon. Near Fine, tiny bumps at corners, the bookplate of noted book collector Albert Parsons Sachs front paste down. French text with English translation by Ezra Pound from de Bosschere's "Les métiers divins" (Paris, 1913). Elkin Matthews asked Pound to do the translation but his name did not appear in the work-- Cf. Gallup B12. A quite charming collection of 12 drawings, uncommon in such lovely condition and good provenance. Although no indication in the book, most recently from the collection of noted collector Lewis Vogler. . SIGNED BY ARTIST. Limited and Numbered, Signed 1st Edition. Stiff Wrappers . Near Fine/No Jacket. Small 8vo. Limited Edition.
