DJ has chips and tears - protected from further damage in clean Brodart jacket. Illustrated endpapers, hinges good. Frontispiece + 3 b/w full page illustrations. Cover shows boy on horse with a dog which appears to be part Airedale or Irish Terrier. Description of dog in text is mixed breeding, hair stiff and crinkly and brindle colored.
